A truck stop in the middle of nowhere in the midwest begat some of the inspiration for this...... I was there 3 or 4 years ago ....in it's way it was an unlooked for moment in an unexpectedly transendent place. I can still feel the heat.....and smell the boiled road and leaky fuel .... Its also drawn from personal expereince ofcourse - sent throught the masher and brought back into existance via the meditative qualites of crows. - Fay x
